As Executive Chef, Ortiz works hand in hand with Celebrity Chef Dale Talde, a James Beard semifinalist and television favorite from Top Chef: Chicago and Top Chef: All-Stars. Together, they are redefining the dining scene at The Perry Hotel Naples, blending the sophistication of a modern steakhouse with the vibrant depth of Cantonese flavors.

Chef Ortiz brings a blend of business acumen and culinary artistry to his role. A graduate of the University of South Florida with training from Roy’s Culinary, Ortiz honed his craft in both classical and contemporary techniques. His impressive career includes leadership roles at Roy’s Bonita Springs, Naples Grande Beach Resort, and West Bay Club. Known for his passion for fusion cuisine and comfort food, he crafts dishes that highlight local ingredients and seasonal inspirations, making The Perry Hotel Naples a true standout among Naples hotels.
